We’ve come up with a simple recipe for a spice rub that is sure to ‘wake up’ beef, chicken or the ever-dependable pork chop. Rub this into your piece of meat before cooking to add that extra ‘oomph’ .
- 2 tbsp O’ Neill’s Irish Atlantic Sea Salt (Try either our Plain Sea Salt or the Chilli & Paprika flavoured Sea Salt for an extra kick)
- 1 1/2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 tbsp Sweet Paprika
- 1/2 tbsp Cayenne Pepper
1. Mix all ingredients together and rub into your meat. Depending on the type of meat, score the fat of the meat first then apply the rub.
2. Cook as normal.
